I Dont Expect This to Make Sense To You

Domestication can do that to you, it takes you to a whole new world.
With a hungry wolf you know where they stand.
He'll tear you apart, fight to the death till one is left standing.
It's either you or him, and the animal in him tells him to choose himself, every time.
We hunt and kill the wolf for reasons that are obvious to us.

We say a dog is man's best friend.
Loyal, always happy to see you, full of endless love.
A dog does not, and cannot love you.
He merely sticks around because you're a better choice than the wild.
Take away their table scraps, warm bed, and tennis ball
and they'll show their true colors.

Why do we prefer the dog over the wolf?
Peculiar creatures we are, us humans.

  1. Comfort is forever a factor in every decision we, as humans, make. If we changed and started trusting the wolf that's when we've changed the nature of being human. By doing that, the comfort many of us live in is jeopardized, which is a can of worms you don't want to open; that's when you start thanking the heavens that hanging and stoning have been outlawed.

  2. I don't ask you to trust the wolf. I just ask that you see the dog for what he really is. People beg time and time again for truth in the world. When they get the bare, vicious truth, and they find they don't like it, that is when they fight back for the lies they once had. Ignorance is bliss, no matter who you are. There is always some limit of truth you can handle and still say you are happier now then you were when you were oblivious.

When people ask for the wolf, they're really asking for the dog. And why shouldn't they? Dogs are just so loveable.
